ESRA Fitness Centers

ESRA offers a full service fitness center located in the sub-basement of the USDA South Building. The facility has a cardio room, free weight room, a variety of equipment machines, as well an aerobics class schedule taught by certified instructors. All of the classes are included in your membership! Membership is only $26 per month and conveniently located at work! Lockers and showers are available on site.

Please stop by the Fitness Center front desk between the hours of 8:00am and 2:00pm to join!

*** The Riverdale Fitness Center has closed.  If you are still paying dues there via Payroll Deduction, please fill out the below form titled “Payroll Deduction Cancellation Form (Riverdale)” and turn it into your HR representative for processing as soon as possible.  ESRA can not cancel if for you, and we can we can not issue any refunds.

Cancelation Policy:

Members on payroll deduction must use the Payroll Deduction Cancellation Form to cancel their membership. The form must be submitted to their HR office for processing. ESRA cannot complete this task for members. Please make sure to follow up with HR and check your future paystubs to ensure the process has been completed. Please also inform the Fitness Center staff of your intent to cancel.

Members out credit card auto-renew must inform the Fitness Center in writing at least 7 days in advance to cancel. Sending an email is an acceptable way to cancel.

We also have LIMITED DAY USE lockers at no charge, but you may store your items ONLY while working out. All items must be removed by the end of the workout. Items left behind are subject to be removed.

Showers:

The locker room has showers that are available for any USDA employee or contractor to use at no charge. You do not have to be a member to use these facilities.

*All memberships are paid for with automatic renewal via a credit card on file. You can cancel at any time with 7 days notice to the Fitness Center staff.

*Processing fee applies to all members and those who rejoin after 6 months of cancellation.
